Cable Union Airport

The Cable Union Airport is assigned 3CU for 3 Cable Union, as it is owned by the Towns of Cable, Drummond, and Namakagon. It is a municipally owned public use airport located at 42905 Telemark Road, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Cable, Wisconsin.

Forest Lodge Library

The FOREST LODGE LIBRARY is a joint library of the Cable and Namakagon communities and is located on County Highway M in downtown Cable, WI. The library is open six days a week and its services and programs are available to area patrons and visitors alike.

Great Divide Ambulance Service

Great Divide Ambulance Service was founded by the Local Cable Area Lions Club in 1971. Our Station Headquarters are located at 43555 US Highway 63 and house all our Providers there and 6 Ambulances 24-7. Great Divide Crews are available for emergency response through 911 activation out of Bayfield County Sheriff’s Department in Washburn.

Namakagon Volunteer Fire Department

The Namakagon Volunteer Fire Department (NVFD) was established in 1971.

The NVFD’s purpose and mission is to preserve and protect life and property in the Township of Namakagon; provide assistance to all other cities, villages and townships thru mutual aid agreements; provide for the Protection of life and property through inspections and enforcement of all fires; provide, within reason, search, rescue, and/or assistance to all other emergencies; and when available, respond to requests from other Fire Departments, EMS, Law Enforcement, State or Federal agencies.

Transfer Site & Demolition Site

The Town of Namakagon Transfer Site and Demolition Site, located at 25205 County Highway M, are designed to provide a safe, clean, and easy way for residents to keep their property clear of garbage, yard debris, and unwanted household items at the lowest possible cost. The goal of the program is to keep the town clean, reduce fire hazards, and eliminate discarded items at inappropriate locations. The sites are for the use of residents and property owners only.
