The Very Best of the Northwoods!
The Town of Namakagon in southern Bayfield County, Wisconsin is lightly populated, densely wooded, and a popular vacation destination in Northwest WI. The town forms around Lake Namakagon, a trophy muskie lake, and excellent for walleye, bass, northern pike, and pan fish. The forests here are far more populated with wildlife than people. Deer, black bear, fox, wild turkeys, grouse, and bald eagles are often seen, and the beautifully haunting call of the common loon is heard around the lake throughout the summer.
