Governor’s Fishing Opener & Outdoor Expo

The 2017 Wisconsin Governor’s Fishing Opener will be hosted by Lakewood Resort (21540 County Hwy M, Cable). The event this year includes the Fishing Expo, free and open to the public, and is held on Friday, noon to 7:00 p.m, and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday morning offers a free youth fishing event as well. The event coincides with the opening weekend of the hook and line fishing season in Wisconsin.
