Dust off your family heirlooms! Dig the duck decoys out of the burlap bag! Mark Moran, the mobile Antiques Appraiser is returning to the area, and this time the Forest Lodge Library is bringing him to the Town of Namakagon Town Hall on Wednesday, July 11th, from 4-7…or however long it takes!
YOU WILL NEED AN APPOINTMENT! The library is taking reservations for appraisal appointments. Individual appointments must be made for each item you plan to bring with you and there is a suggested donation of $10 per appraisal. Give us a call at 716-798-3189 to get your name on the roster! You can also send an email to cablelibrary@cable.wislib.org.
Categories of items open to consideration at this event include: fine art, furniture, ceramics, glassware, vintage photographs, advertising, folk art, assorted toys, metalware, clocks or costume jewelry. Excluded items include: all weapons, fine jewelry, musical instruments, and coins or paper money. If you are unclear as to whether or not your item fits into an open category, give us a call and we can contact Mr. Moran for clarification. It is also possible, if your item is large, heavy or otherwise hard to handle, to provide photos of all sides/angles of the item and receive your appraisal that way.
Mr. Moran will give your item careful consideration…whether it’s worth a fortune…or simply of “great personal significance.” We’ve very much enjoyed having Mr. Moran here in the past…and are pleased to announce his return.
